I love buying fresh, locally grown produce at the Farmer's Markets in our area. Our first trip this summer was to the one in Sheldon where I found a giant zucchini (you caught the Chocolate Zucchini Cake and Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bars, right?) a bag of green beans, baby onions, and a wonderful bag of apples that I made into applesauce and Apple Pie Bread.
During our trip we were approached by a photographer for the Mail Sun/Review who was doing a piece for the Herds & Plowshares section. He just adored Eli and asked if he could take some pictures. Eli just ate it up and loved being the center of attention. The next weekend, look what we found in the paper!
