I went to the Farmer's Market yesterday (You'll hear more about this one soon) and bought some local apples. Eli told me they were delicious and the lady selling them gave them at a discount as some were already bursting in the heat.
I'm a huge apple fan, so I knew the first thing that I would make with these apples was applesauce!
Isaac watched me peel and cut them and even helped shake the cinnamon for me. What a nice boy!
Ingredients
2 cups apples; peeled, cored, roughly chopped in uneven sizes
1 tsp ground Cinnamon
1 Tbsp white sugar
Combine all ingredients in microwave safe bowl.
Cook on high 5 minutes. Stir. Repeat. BAM!! You're done. :D
Seriously, more healthy than the processed stuff you find in the grocery stores and less sugar too! (I like 'em tart!) And you can control how chunky you make it- I like the chunks, but if you like it smooth you can run it through the processor.

| After 5 minutes and a stir it looked like this. |
