Candy Cane Reindeer

Here's how you can make your very own adorable candy cane reindeer to gift to your favorite person or even hang on the tree.

 

 

Supplies:

Candy canes, poms, wiggly eyes, pipe cleaners, a glue gun, and (not pictured) a pencil.

 

 

Oh, and a handsome little helper!!

 

 

Mom: Put a dot of glue at the end of the curve on the candy cane.

Helper: Pick out a colored nose and stick it down (careful of the hot glue!)

Mom: Glue two eyes somewhere above the nose.

Helper: Pick out one pipe cleaner.

Mom: Twist the pipe cleaner at the top of the curve in the cane.

 

 

Mom and Helper: Twist each end of the pipe cleaner around a pencil to give it a squiggle.

Helper: Throw a tantrum for having to hand over the pencil to curl the reindeer antlers.

 

 

Helper: Still going strong on that tantrum.......

Reindeer hung on the tree and helper boy is a much happier boy now.
