Primghar's celebrations were on the calendar as soon as we found out about them. Hubby spent many years growing up in that town and family still lives there. We met Grandpa there so we could check out the car show and watch the parade together.
Eli still has a thing with loud noises. At least he wasn't crying and was excited to see Uncle Adam in the parade.
Get that candy!
We kept telling Eli and Isaac how to get candy: look really cute and wave your hands. They got that thing down!
Yes, Isaac is Mini-Me.
Look, it's a John Deere tractor! Can you see he was aiming for candy with that cute, crooked wave?
After we found a delicious lunch in the square, we hit up the lumberjack show. The kids got a kick out of the competitions, especially the 60' pole climb.
Thank goodness Pizza Ranch handed out bags; look at this haul!
Mean mom that I am, we're shipping this candy (minus a few tootsie rolls and suckers) overseas. My kids are sweet enough without all this extra sugar.
Thanks, Primghar, for the fun times!
