25 Days of Christmas Crafts

Since the boys are needing more attention lately (what's up with that?!) I've decided to do 25 Days of Christmas Crafts with them in the afternoons after naptime.

We're only on day 3, but so far things are good and their interest is still high.

Day 1: Salted Snowmen Cards
(I forgot to take a picture. Yes, bad mom!)
We drew snowmen on construction paper, traced our shapes with some glue, then sprinkled salt to make a "snow" effect. Eli's still asking to make more. :)

Day 2: Again, no picture (mom fail!) We colored some Christmas pictures.

Day 3: Wreath Ornaments
Beads on colored pipe cleaners and tied off into a wreath shape. This was simple enough for Isaac to do and both the boys liked seeing their wreaths on the tree.

Here's what I have planned for the remainder of our month:

Day 4: Paper Snowflakes
Day 5: Popsicle stick stars
Day 6: Tin can luminaries
Day 7: Snowballs (Peanut butter balls dipped in white almond bark)
Day 8: Decorate envelopes for Christmas Cards
Day 9: Santa Beards
Day 10: Handprint reindeer
Day 11: Salt dough-pins for our grandparent gifts!
Day 12: Reindeer hats
Day 13: Bath tub Santas
Day 14: Salt Dough ornaments
Day 15: Placemats
Day 16: Peanut Butter Jar Snow globes
Day 17: Gift tags
Day 18: Thumbprint light cards
Day 19: Reindeer Crunch
Day 20: Colored ice cubes (to hopefully bring outside in the snow!)
Day 21: Toilet paper tube Angels
Day 22: Hand-print trees
Day 23: Color Christmas pictures
Day 24: Paper stockings
Day 25: Open Presents! Yes, this isn't a craft but new presents are more fun than crafts. Everyone knows that!

Hopefully I'll remember to take more pictures of our other crafts and share some with you.
