Monthly Menu: November 2018

Happy Tuesday everyone! Isaac and I are chilling at home. Day 2 with a stomach bug for the little dude :( I guess all sorts of sick stuff going around right now, so prayers out to everyone else dealing with this too. All this extra time at home with a napping kid (3 naps yesterday!) left me with some extra time to plan ahead for the next month. Monthly Menu: November 2016

This month's menu came together quicker than most months. I guess it helps to plan on an empty stomach! What do you have planned for November? I might put together a grocery list ahead of time based on what I'm missing for these meals because it's not much. :D 31- Halloween: Pork tacos with corn salsa and mixed fruit 1- Loaded baked potatoes, broccoli, apples and bananas with peanut butter 2- Lasagna, garlic toast, side salad (If you don't have time for traditional lasagna, check out this recipe for a cheater version!) 3- Biscuits and gravy, fried eggs, applesauce 4- BLTs, green beans 5- Hawkeye party: We're bringing taco layer dip & chips, jello for the kids, cut up fruit, and something sweet 6- Frozen pizzas 7- Milk rice and sausage, orange slices 8- Grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, chips, carrots and celery 9- Tacos, jello, fruit cups 10- Arm roast, potatoes, green bean casserole, biscuits, applesauce 11- Enchiladas with all the fixins, pin...

Yeah, that stuff. I want to know what are your favorites? Where do you go for recipes? Who gets to eat them? You can bet I have my favorites and the month of December will be grossly devoted to making, baking, and creating those food masterpieces. I also like variety and to try new things. I browse cook books and a few websites, but love to recipe swap and make things that I know others have tried and like. So, what do you have to share?
