Today is the day I've been dreading for a long time....the first snow day. Yes, there are some good things about snow, but honestly, I hate the stuff. Especially driving in it. It brings out the worst in me. My hands sweat, my breathing gets shallow, my whole body tenses, and I nearly have a panic attack every time I have to drive in it. *shudder*
But I do it. I drive in it. Because I would be a hermit if I let my fears take over every bit of me and I refused to go out. Let's just say I'm the one holding up traffic. Now you have someone to blame when you're in a hurry and can't get to your appointments on time.
I did say there are some good things about snow.
It's pretty.
It makes the world look clean.
My family loves it and when I see them all happy, I'm happy.
Oh, you'd like me to prove they like the snow? Ok.... since you twisted my arm ;)
There were a lot of tears shed when it was time to go inside. Eli didn't care that his fingers were frozen and he had snot dripping into his mouth; he just wanted another ride.
I hope you can find something fun about the snow tonight. Remember, we are stuck with it for another 4 months.
