Overdue Thanks

My schedule was fuller than normal, so I've missed out on some thankfulness posts. Believe me, I've been full of gratitude for so many people and things over the weekend, I just haven't gotten a chance to publish it!

I'm thankful for the men and women who have served, do serve, and will serve my country. It's because of you that I am able to enjoy all of the freedoms I take for granted on a daily basis. Thank you to your families who miss you when you're not home with them. To the "single parents" who struggle, to the mothers who worry, to the siblings who are lonely, and every other family member who also serves our country by letting you do your work.

On Saturday I was surrounded by extended family, and the whole day was a wonderful celebration. Thanks to all of you. Thanks for driving to visit, thanks for your friendly faces, thanks for the good food, thanks for the fun night, and thanks for being my family. (even though you don't have a choice!)

Sunday was spent with even more family for a birthday party and, even though my family was tired, it was a fun time to see everyone and celebrate another year for little miss Ry. I'm also thankful for all of you!

I'm thankful for my husband's jobs today. They help provide for my family and I'm thankful that Kendall is able to work hard and is so dedicated to doing the best he can. Yep, it sucks that he's gone a lot and is preoccupied when he is home, but without this income who knows where we would be right now.
