I had my morning all planned. During Isaac's nap Eli and I were going to bake pumpkin cookies. The can of pumpkin puree had a picture of pumpkin pie on it. Eli thought that's what was in the can. So, that's what he wanted.
I browsed my favorite Monica cookbook and came across this recipe that I surprisingly had all the ingredients for.
1 can pumpkin puree
6 oz-french vanilla instant pudding mix
2/3 cup milk
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
8 oz whipped topping
1 graham cracker crust
Mix the first 4 ingredients together. Fold in the whipped topping and spread into crust. Refrigerate to set and enjoy.
Sorry I don't have a picture to share, but this pie isn't going to stick around long enough for that! mmmmm
