That sums up our weekend. :)
I-man's tooth came in! Finally a top tooth. Unfortunately this means he's biting EVERYTHING to find some relief and get the other top tooth in. By everything I do mean everything, including US! The little stinker is leaving his mark all over-the chair, my leg, kendall's chest.....
But this tooth is just another milestone and more proof that he's growing up. I'm ready for him to be eating more "people food" and share our meals. While I enjoy making his food, it'll be nice to make 1 meal for everyone.
He did get to enjoy some of our lunch today. I wanted to give my parents a break from cooking Sunday Dinner so I had my family over today for an August Thanksgiving :) I made the turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, salads......oh we ate and ate and ate! I think I'm still full. I was worried for a while I wouldn't pull it off and dreamt last night about all the worst case scenarios. Someone got sick, they didn't like it, I burnt something, ugh! Thankfully it was all wonderful.
Oh, and I am now 24. I had a wonderful birthday. The boys took their naps without a single complaint, I had a great supper grilled by my husband, enjoyed coffee and chatting with some friends, and had some time to myself in which I napped and read a book. :)
