Sunday was a beautiful day in the park for Eli's "Happy" We enjoyed a full day of food and family. And of course lots of tractors and trucks. The kids played on the playground equipment most of the day and I was grateful for the lack of tears, blood, and fighting. Usually we have all of those things. However, right when I picked up Eli to open presents and eat cake, he puked all over my arm. He had a full belly and played too hard. Don't worry, he wasn't sick.
Eli loves all of his presents. Thanks everyone for making it such a great day!
Updates to our life:
Tonight is our last softball game of the year-we had so many cancelled due to rain, but it's nice to be done.
The garage still needs to be shingled. sigh....
Kendall's boss quit and there are positions open in their department. This is a big transition time and we're not sure how things will be restructured. Pray that Kendall can stay calm and do his work to glorify God, regardless of his title and position.
Sydney is struggling with some strong emotions, but coming through pretty good most days. We're past the worst part of the summer and she is ready for middle school. She even made a countdown.
Eli is spending his days playing tractors and loves to be outside. He hasn't been feeling good (sinus infection?), so we'll head to the dr. in a few days if things haven't cleared on their own.
Isaac's reflux is giving me a hard time-he's cranky and not sleeping great. He's also not able to eat processed baby food anymore, so we're starting to make our own. He scarfed his peaches down today but has been puking all afternoon. I don't know if it's from the milk, formula, or peaches. :S It's frustrating not knowing what's making him sick.
Our weekend is packed with wonderful activities and I'm excited to spend time with friends and our church family.
Praying you stay safe and have a Happy 4th if I don't post before then!
