I've been contemplating stepping out into the blogging world, it's finally happened. I'm excited to try out all the fun templates and use my brain for something more than changing diapers and singing ABC's. Who knows how often I'll update this, but it's feeling a little therapeutic to get some of my thoughts out of my head.
Today was a wonderful day.
Kendall and I met with Sydney's teachers bright and early this morning and finalized some things before she moves on to middle school next year. Bittersweet is the word we kept using as she no longer qualifies for special education. She's doing AWESOME and we're so happy that she can start middle school without any specials.
I'm so happy the weather was cooperative and the boys and I could spend a lot of time outside. We even made it to the park for the first time this year. Isaac giggled the whole time he rode in the swing, music to my ears! Eli is definitely Kendall's son-he screamed every time we had to come inside.
Oh, and my tulips are coming up! If you drive by the house, don't laugh at them. I started digging them up last summer, but never finished and there is a big clump of 10-20 stems toward the front of the house. oops!
Today I also planned more of our big Sunday. I'm getting baptized, we're dedicating Eli and Isaac, and celebrating Mother's Day; all on the same day. AND celebrating with a meal at church. mmmm I can't wait! Pastor Jay asked if I was nervous; I'm anything but nervous! I'm so excited to stand up in front of my friends and family and be baptized. I've written my testimony 3 times now and can't decide which is my favorite. I'll have to Eeny Meeny Miney Mo it like Kendall does.
Hope tomorrow is as good as today was!
