Hey friends, were you starting to get worried I wasn't going to post this month's menu??
I'll be honest, we've been living off of donated freezer meals for the past week and a half and it's been kind of awesome. Since surgery and going back to work I don't have the energy that I used to have, so not having to worry about standing in the kitchen prepping supper has been great!
On that note, Thank You to everyone that gave us meals (AND prayed for our healing). It's all been delicious so far! Not even joking, your food is so yummy.
I really am feeling much better already. I wore real pants to work today (big mistake) so my biggest complaint is swelling and now irritation on one of my incisions. (Kendall's feeling tons better too, in case you were wondering)
Our Mays are always crazy busy, so we may or may not be more eating out than we typically do in the month. :S I'm warned this isn't even the real crazy stuff yet. "Wait til they're in [enter grade here]" We will survive and thrive and make it to June.
I decided not to put fruit on the actual menu this time because we're just going to eat what we have on hand which is usually some choice of these: apples, bananas, oranges, strawberries, canned pears, canned peaches, pineapple, watermelon, mixed fruit, fruit smoothies, or any combination of those.
