My mind is crazy, all over the place today as I try to clean, pack, make food, and care for the kids (and naughty puppy).
So instead of some clever, insightful, cute post all you get is a jumble of pictures and words. It really has been a while between posts! I have some delicious recipes to share with you when I have a little more time to upload pictures and type out recipes.
This is just some of the more memorable adventures from the last month. We know there are many more to be had this year!

Our annual Labor Day tradition of attending Sheldon Celebration Days continued with fun time in the park and a great parade with TONS of candy. The boys took turns in the Gerbil Ball.
Some mornings we enjoy a nice walk to the bus stop.
We went to Pumpkinland one afternoon with my family and had a blast in the corn maze, petting animals, and running around the farm.
Too Tall, Eli!
My, you've grown Isaac!
Probably making fun of the goats.
Giving Isaac and Blake a ride in the wagon.
We celebrated Sydney's 14th birthday with a giant buffet and presents. We still can't believe she's that old already!
I think she liked her presents.
Thanks for the gifts, everyone!
Eli likes to take my camera and I find lots of pictures of Buster when he's done. Puppy's getting big!
Hubby finally got the motorcycle to work and Isaac was the first to get a ride. Poor child waited all Summer for that ride and hours wouldn't have been long enough for him.
We spent a weekend at Mill Creek and enjoyed an absolutely gorgeous morning fishing. We didn't catch a single fish that time, but God's creation had us in awe. The water was like glass, it was calm and the weather was perfect.
How majestic is Our God's Creation!!
Despite it being the middle of September, it was hot enough to sweat on the beach! The boys dove right in and then spent the rest of our time digging in the sand.
My baby still loves me enough to take goofy pictures with me.
A little excitement was had one afternoon while camping. A trailer came unhitched from someone's load down the highway and settled in the ditch in our campsite! We are so thankful for God's provision that no one was hurt, there was no damage to the trailer or load, and we were able to get the trailer back to the couple with many helping hands.
Papa and Grandma came to fish with us a second time and the boys had better luck with them. We also enjoyed a nice walk and exploring creek (dead muskrat, anyone?)
Buster being the perfect doggie model for my new adventure in sewing bowties. No, the bowties are not meant for pets, but you have to agree he looks pretty sharp!
