Sewing Lately

Here's what's been taking up my free time lately.......  creating outfits for Miss Rylee's Fashion Show Extravaganza Birthday Party! I know she's going to get a kick out of modeling these outfits for everyone. It's been a blast making all of these for her.

Outfit #1

Brown girls size 14 shirt turned into size 6 with elastic bottom and mock tank neck. Also a braided t-shirt bracelet and purple glitter bobby pins (not shown). To be worn with jeans or a skirt.

Outfit #2
Pink heart applique long sleeve shirt with matching flower hair clip. (Thanks Giggly Girls for the flower!) This will also look super cute with jeans or a skirt.

Outfit #3
Women's size XL sweater turned little girl's dress with pink flower and elastic sequin headband. (And I just had to sew enough headbands for her 3 sisters as well. Not sure if they were worth the 3 needles I broke making them, but they turned out cute!)

Outfit #4
Women's XS tank top and 2XL tshirt turned into a dress with matching flower headband and stretch leggings. (leggings were purchased not made)

 Outfit #5
Probably my favorite so far, the zebra t-shirt dress. Girls 6/7 black tshirt with one of my old pink tshirts and some zebra cotton fabric ruffles. Matching glitter zebra ribbon headband.

Outfit #6
I think this one could work as a summer dress, swimsuit cover, or even a nightie since it's so light and airy. Perfect for Iowa summers :) Also, I'm pretty sure I cranked this one out in less than 20 minutes...including ironing the seams like 3 different times.

 Last but not least......

A pink and purple scarf made in her favorite colors just because I didn't feel like putting the sewing maching away just yet.

I'll come up with a few more headbands for this fashionista and then her show will be complete!
