I love making this appetizer. It's quick, it's easy, it's tasty.
And it seems to be a hit wherever I take it. Always a plus, especially at potlucks!
Sorry, I forgot to take a picture this time.
Ingredients
1 package of tortilla shells - any flavor you like.
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar ( I used sharp cheddar this time and I like it a lot more than mild)
1/3 cup diced black olives
2 TBsp salsa, your choice
1 jalapeno, seeded, diced as small as you can get it
Mix cream cheese and sour cream. Add remaining ingredients and stir together.
Take a tortilla, spread cream cheese mix in an even layer, roll up jelly-roll style. Cut in 1-inch wedges. Repeat for as many tortillas as you want to make.
On a side note, you can make the spread as a cracker dip. My favorite is with original wheat thins. I've been known to finish off a bowl in one sitting.... oops! Gotta stop doing that or I really won't fit in last years jeans!
Once you make your own spread, you'll know what I'm talkin about!
