Monthly Menu: November 2018

Happy Tuesday everyone! Isaac and I are chilling at home. Day 2 with a stomach bug for the little dude :( I guess all sorts of sick stuff going around right now, so prayers out to everyone else dealing with this too. All this extra time at home with a napping kid (3 naps yesterday!) left me with some extra time to plan ahead for the next month. Monthly Menu: November 2017

Hi friends. How has your month been? It's the 23rd and I'm back to meal planning! I definitely need to stick with a plan, for the sake of my budget and my waist line! Here's the tentative plan. I have the freezer pretty well stocked right now, so I'm hoping our grocery bills can handle this month better than it did the beginning of October....yikes! That's what I get for not planning ahead. And shopping with an empty stomach. And having a couple of birthday parties :D If you haven't been to Pumpkinland yet, GO! Hey everyone! I'm sitting here in disbelief that it is actually October. Our weather is an ongoing roller coaster so I never know what to expect from morning to evening. The first of the month also means I have less than a week to find, purchase, and wrap Isaac's birthday presents... my baby turns 8 in 8 days! To throw in a cliche exclamation, they grow up so fast! I will admit these elementary years with the boys seem to get better and better. The amount of learning and growing they do each year amazes me. What are some of the recipes you intend to make this month? Are you turning your crockpot out of hibernation? Are you simmering soups for the cooler nights?
