I may have lost my mind.
I was persuaded by some high school friends to run with them. Not just around the block. Or a 5K. We're skipping straight to a 7 mile, outdoor, cross-country style, "off road" race. AHHH!!
I have 6 weeks left to prepare.
I'm motivated to train and push my body to do things against its will.
My lungs are not happy with me, and I'm not even running outside yet! And now my silly back has decided to twist and bulge and push on things its not supposed to. Is this my warning sign? Am I not supposed to run? Right now I'm pressing on and running any way. I keep thinking about the end; how good I'll feel to have accomplished this!
