lately

It was nice over the weekend so we spent some time in the park. The kids didn't want to leave they were having so much fun. I was a little sick of wasps by that afternoon-they were EVERYWHERE! And I'm just a tad scared of their ginormous stingers.

Eli wanted to take a picture for GG and every picture the rest of the day was for GG. He asked multiple times for them- I thought it was pretty cute. I know GG will think so too.

Eli found a hat in his drawer and thought Isaac needed one too, so we dug out the summer clothes box and found a hat for Isaac so they could both wear one. He likes to match.

Sydney had a concert at school this week. The camera died after this picture :(  But it was a fun concert and Sydney always does a good job singing.


And I don't have any pictures (yet) but I was baptized on Sunday! It was such a wonderful experience! I can't even begin to describe the feelings involved: nervous, excited, cold (haha), joyful, and new. Baptism symbolizes the death of our sins and the coming to new life in Christ. I never knew I would actually feel that inside too.

My church family is so wonderful and the whole service was very special for our family. The dedication of our kids was incredibly special and emotional for us. It's important that we raise our kids the way God wants us to and with the help of the church.
