...of motherhood! I've been thinking of all the things that have surprised me so far. here's a fun list.

1. did you know you can break your tailbone pushing a baby out of you?! I do!! TWICE
2. cleaning puke out of the carpet can be really, REALLY hard
3. yes, boys can go #1 and #2 (even at the same time!) when you're changing their diapers. the result=a gross mess
4. you never really know what sleep deprivation is until you have a sick baby.
5. toddlers can be fast and pretty darn naughty when you're in the shower.
6. fishing poop out of the bathtub is not fun.
7. months after they're born they can still destroy your body :(
8. nursing isn't for everyone. sometimes your body doesn't cooperate.
9. kisses really do make owies better.
10. there is no love like what you feel for your kids!
I also want to say thank you to everyone who prayed for us. Isaac's surgery went great and he's acting like he does every other day. He's so happy and playing with his toys. What a blessing that we have great medical care so close by! God is so good to us.
